Addressing the flooding at Aldeamayor Golf caused by heavy rains will be one of the immediate priorities
The mayor of Aldeamayor de San Martín, Roberto Martínez, and the managing director of Espina & Delfín, Óscar Rodríguez, signed the contract for the maintenance of the municipal water service facilities during a ceremony held at City Hall.
With the signing of this agreement, the company officially begins providing the service, taking on responsibility for facility maintenance and incident response. The main objective is to strengthen response capabilities and improve the day-to-day operation of the service.
This new phase begins with a focus on the municipality’s most urgent needs. Among the established priorities is the analysis of solutions to the flooding problems at Aldeamayor Golf during periods of heavy rain. In this area, the City Council seeks to implement specific measures to reduce the strain on the drainage system and minimize the impact on roads and homes.
In addition, technicians will address other critical areas of the system, such as the Las Médulas pumping station, in order to optimize its performance and reduce the frequency of incidents.
The City Council has welcomed the fact that the start of the contract has been accompanied by a swift response and a clear willingness to take action from the very beginning on issues that are a priority for the municipality. For its part, Espina & Delfín has reaffirmed its commitment to make its technical expertise and operational capacity available to Aldeamayor de San Martín in order to provide effective service from day one.
The signing of this agreement strengthens the collaboration between the two entities on an issue that is particularly sensitive for the municipality, ensuring that the water systems operate properly and that residents receive prompt and efficient service.
