Congalsa Awards Espina & Delfín the Contract for Its New Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant in A Pobra do Caramiñal

Congalsa has awarded Espina & Delfín the contract to design, build, and commission its new industrial wastewater treatment plant (EDARI). The facility will eventually have the capacity to treat up to 1,000 cubic meters of water per day and will optimize the treatment of wastewater from the Congalsa complex in A Pobra do Caramiñal. The goal of the project is to provide a reliable, scalable, and operable facility, minimizing disruptions to production and prioritizing safety during construction and commissioning.

With this new EDARI, Congalsa is strengthening its industrial sustainability roadmap, making progress toward more efficient and robust water management. At the same time, the company continues to develop expansion plans for its complex to support the growth of its operations.
